The short answer

BossMode has three routes.

  1. Self-install Packs — you buy the recipe and install it yourself.
  2. Installed Packs — we help install the recipe inside your business.
  3. AI Survival Coaching — we train and coach you so you can build with AI, judge AI work, and stop being dependent.

Those are not three names for the same thing. They solve different problems.

If the problem is a specific business leak, you probably need a Pack. If the problem is that the Pack needs wiring, you probably need an installed Pack. If the problem is that you do not know how to command AI well enough to build, judge, or manage this work, you probably need coaching.

Route 1: Self-install Packs

This is the simplest path.

You buy the Pack. You load it into your harness. You run it against a specific leak.

A Pack is a recipe: standing orders, source docs, review steps, watchdogs, and proof artifacts. It is not a course, not a SaaS dashboard, and not a magic agent. The harness does the work. The Pack tells the harness what work to do.

Self-install is best when:

  • the leak is obvious;
  • the business is not messy;
  • you can follow instructions;
  • you can tolerate a little setup work;
  • you want the lowest-friction way to get moving.

This is the lane for owners who say, "Give me the recipe. I can install it."

Route 2: Installed Packs

Installed Packs are for the owner who wants the outcome but does not want the Pack sitting half-installed in a folder for six weeks.

The Pack is still the recipe. The difference is who carries the install.

We help connect the moving parts, shape the source materials, wire the workflow, and make sure the Pack produces evidence instead of theory. This path costs more because there is real business-specific work involved.

Installed Packs are best when:

  • the tools are messy;
  • the workflow touches clients, sales, delivery, or operations;
  • the Pack has to connect to existing systems;
  • failure would cost money or credibility;
  • you want us to help get it live.

This is not coaching first. This is implementation first.

Route 3: AI Survival Coaching

AI Survival Coaching is a different offer.

It is not "buy this Pack." It is not "we become your tech support." It is not "hire us to think for you."

The point is to make you capable.

Over a 60–90 day path, the work is to close the gap between casual AI use and real AI command. You learn how to direct AI, build workflows, create automations, judge output, use AI to build software, and understand enough of the language that you stop getting impressed by nonsense.

Coaching is best when:

  • you already use AI but cannot really build with it;
  • you do not know what good looks like;
  • you need personal guidance, not just a recipe;
  • you want to be dangerous with AI inside your own business;
  • you cannot afford to outsource your brain to whoever sounds technical.

You might still buy Packs later. You might still hire people later. The difference is that you stop hiring blind.

The video belongs with the Pack decision

If you see Aaron explaining what BossMode does, what Packs replace, and how the business starts running more of itself, that video is mainly about the Pack route.

It helps you decide whether you want the self-install lane or the installed lane.

The coaching route is different. Coaching is about your skill gap. Packs are about a business leak.

That distinction matters because owners confuse these all the time. They buy education when they need implementation. They buy implementation when they need capability. They buy a cheap template when the real problem is that they do not know how to command the machine.

Where to start

If you are choosing a Pack, start with the Bottleneck Check. It names the leak before you buy the recipe.

If you are scared you cannot function in an AI-first business world, take the AI Survival Score. That report opens the case-call application if the gap is serious enough.

Do not make the decision by vibes. Diagnose the problem first.

Choose one door

Recipe, install, or capability. Do not blur them.

If you know the leak, diagnose the Pack path. If the problem is your own AI skill gap, take the Survival Score. Different problem, different doorway.

The Future-Proof Checklist

Stop being the bottleneck in your own business.
